What the Kids Need
On our visits to St. Jude’s, we inquired the students and teachers about what items and needs would be the most beneficial to them, and with that we created this list. This list serves to prove as an idea of what your donation may cover.
-
Clean, reliable water is one of St. Jude's greatest needs. A new well would provide safe drinking water for students and staff every day, reducing illness and the time spent hauling water from far away.
-
A secure, durable gate for the school entrance would help protect students and staff and give the campus a safer, more defined perimeter.
-
12 laptops would equip faculty and administration with the tools they need for lesson planning, record-keeping, and communication modernizing how the school runs day to day.
-
9 projectors would bring lessons to life across every classroom, giving teachers a way to share visuals, videos, and interactive content that makes learning more engaging.
-
New mattresses, drywall, paint, bathrooms, and showers would give students a cleaner, safer, and more comfortable place to live and rest after each school day.
-
9 screens paired with the new projectors would complete each classroom's setup, giving every teacher the tools to teach visually and effectively.
-
Interactive smartboards would transform traditional lessons into dynamic, hands-on learning experiences, helping teachers engage students in new ways.
-
A fully equipped science lab, with the tools and materials to match would give students hands-on access to real experiments and a stronger foundation in the sciences.
-
Graphing boards, graphing books, and calculators would give students the tools they need to grasp advanced math concepts and build essential problem-solving skills.
